Right then, the weather has been good, it’s the middle of the summer…………………..lets fill that car park with VW’s.

So bring your camera’s, let's get some line up pics and have a nice lazy summer evening having a few drinks and chit chat with like minded friends……………..it’s over to you now to all turn up………………………………..

Just a reminder that it’s club meet this week. The weather forecast at the moment is favourable so come on everybody lets try and fill that car park and perhaps round the summer off in style. Lets even try for a bit of a VW CNBBC line up too…………………so bring your camera’s and park as best we can!!!!!!!!

I also have Vanfest tickets for distribution, if you can’t make it to the meet but are booked in for club camping at Vanfest let me know so we can make some alternative arrangements. Those of you living further a field your tickets should be in the post or in your hands already!!!!!

I'm sorry but i have to say it...

The White Lion is crap. They obviously don't want us and I don't want to be spending my hard-earned somewhere we aren't even shown common courtesy.

I think the time is ripe for a new venue...ideas anyone?

yes we are fully aware that some people are not enjoying the White Lion anymore ......... we have a few ideas in the pipe line but we need to bear in mind that people travel from crewe, sandbach, haslington etc when choosing a new venue ..........if people wanna post up their ideas we are more than happy to persue avenues and hopefully get a new venue sorted by next club meet

I vote for the Jolly Tar, cheap food, loads of parking, camping facilities, childrens play area, pool table. What more could we want. Andy could have a word with the owner if you want coz he knows him from the limelight.

Right then we have done a bit of running around and as a result have found a new venue. But also with the next club meet falling exactly on BONFIRE night we have brought the date forward (so as not to clash with any family parties), so here's the info...........................

Next club meet will be held on THURSDAY 29TH OCTOBER FROM 7PM @ THE PEACOCK, NANTWICH

Dave, The Landlord is going to reserve the area to the right as you walk through the entrance solely for our use. The tables will be labelled as reserved, but yes they are for us Anyone wanting food can eat in The Club area or in the restaurant.........The choice they say is yours!!
