since the little bit of warmth we had last week has gone i have not done much to the van but have collected a few things for her.

bought 2 6ft whip aerials on sunday from dubfreeze. well i bought one and then decided that i needed 2 in my life
also an orange flashing recovery light, ok it was a random buy but i am sure i will find a use for it.

also just aquired a bit of bling that the bronzed one will be proud of :D

mmmmmm shiny ladder, i wanted a bad one to have powder coated matt black but i havent got the heart to ruin this.

the only other thing to add is that i shouldnt give her full beans on a damp road, even if a cnut in a bmw has nearly run into you. sideways past edleston road in rush hour looks impressive but is a bit scary.

its not my fault i only had one head light working and he thought my 16ft white van was a motorbike, wanker!!!!!!!!!

i love my van more each day :D :D :D :D :D :D

this is the long awaited update, ive been that busy ive not had the chance and facebook has entered my life!!!!

first i have fitted the rs turbo fiesta seats into the van that i bought off simon. it took a bit of modification but they went in...Image

first rip the old seats apart for the runners then cut the backrest brackets off

Image

putting the runners back in the van.

Image

clean the paint off the bottom of the seat

Image

then weld the seats to the runners, jod done...
Image

i finished the drivers side and put it in primer:

Image
well most of it.

Image

it took a bit of time to get this side finished as the weather was shit but eventually got it done and prepped the back

Image

i then put some paint on to see how it looked and it wasnt that bad, took a while to like it though as the van was grey/white and sand.

Image

Image

finally got a bit of good weather so i started on the passenger side digging out the seam rash and sorting the rust. also knocking out the big dent as i hit a fence in nantwich.

the offending fence complete with white paint:

got that side primed( no pics) then attacked the front

then last weekend i got a break with the weather so managed to get the rest of the paint on. then as it was nice and fish and marv were here we decided to go all out and bollock the green on and add all the other junk like bullbar, roofrack, ladder, freshly painted grilles, spots etc and im very happy...

Image

the beast is born!!!!!!

side on the standard wheels look wank!

Image

Image

the ladder is black now.

got the merc wheels painted and it looks proper now, did have to space the fronts 10mm!!

Image

pics from bustypes under the big net hiding

the interior is still work in progress so will post pics as and when..

Wow Nick

I had no idea you put so much work into your T25, I thought it was just a minor cosmetic touch up.

Nice work.

no it had seem rash in all the usual places, the front had been handpainted plus it had sploges of dulux gloss all over it as the old boy was a painter/decorator. plus it had all the usual dents you get with a panel van.

nothing is straight forward.........

if you try and remove a petrol tank off a t25 to replace the breathers then dont do it on your own.
if you do you will end up in a world of pain as it is a right twat of a job and you may not like what you find when you do :(
