Thought I'd post a few pics of my bus just to prove I do actually have one and hopefully won't always be kipping in the back of a Passat at shows


Here he is when I bought him in 2004.. didn't look too bad £700 off ebay.. bargain...



.. then on closer inspection after purchase.. maybe not such a bargain..







nice bit of wood held in with some sort of bonding underneath to hide nastyness then covered in underseal !!!




Lots and lots of welding and fabircation...






a few essential mods...





then back on the road for a couple of years



then time to finish what I started which is taking longer than hoped due small interruptions and lack of funds.....

Bit more Rot removal



New Bum Cheeks


I have also fitted a Bedford Rascal Steering and Electronic Power Steering from a Vauxhall Corsa.. lacking on photos on this .. probably other stuff I've forgotten..

Anyway It's been stripped and sprayed and is kinda like this at the moment





Am slowly putting it all back together at the moment

My daughter is quite cute isn't she ... her 3rd birthday yesterday made me realise how long phase II of this resto has taken !!

Thanks for the comments, I'll try and get some more upto date pics and hopefully some good progress will happen now that my house resto is complete
