If you are going to post an image try and keep them 800mps wide or less and the same tall. They take up less memory and you can see them on the page :D

Thanks

Hi Ade,
I'm having trouble downloading any image for our profile! Ive tried editing the image to make it smaller, but as its the smallest it can go i.e. 23 kb its still not working!!

Avatars can be a real pain.

They are actually stored by the people who operate the forum and as they are already saving all the posts/threads, etc, etc what they don't want to end up doing is storing loads of large images as well.

Avatars can only be 7kB in size and can only be 100pixel wide x 100pixel high.

All I can suggest is really try and compress the image you want to the above sizes.
